have the

moola. Now, I'm just not sure if these are actually needs or

just

wants. Besides, there are millions of children out there who grew up

without these. But still.....

Bumbo Baby Seat
Price:

$40
Pros: great for
hot

weathered Philippines to air baby's back, better than high

chair
Cons: useful only

until 14-18 months, depending on baby's size

Hotslings
Price: $45
Pros: hands free

carry, promotes bonding
Cons: can only be used until 35 lbs., bad for
back

Carseat (Britax)
Price: $275
Pros: can be used

until 3 years of age, worry free (nausea free Aiza when looking at
Elise) in car
Cons: expensive

(hahaha)

Exersaucer
Price:

$100
Pros: promotes

development of motor skills, visual and audio stimulation
Cons: uses 6 AAA batteries (battery hog)

Peapod Travel Bed
Price:

$60
Pros: great for sleepovers
Cons: may be a bit warm for baby on hot weather

Oh well...I can easily substitute any of my body parts for some of these
anyways.
Tuesday. We were so happy that finally, we get to spend the whole
time with her. It was a very tiring and stressful day since Pau
and I had to run all over the hospital to pay for her hospital bills
and her doctor's professional fees. Nonetheless, it was worth it.

Here are photos of her homecoming with Grandma and Pau's family and relatives.

For 28 excruciating days now, we've struggled with Elise's condition
and went through an emotional, physical and spiritual roller-coaster
ride. At long last, we're on the home stretch. Her doctor
said that we can finally take her home with us the day after she's
finished with her antibiotics. That glorious day is on Tuesday,
June 27 - 31 days after she was born. She's now 4 lbs and 4 oz
heavy, with chubby cheeks and very big eyes. Elise already has a
tooth growing. The nurses in the neonatal intensive care (NICU)
said that it was already present at birth. She's also starting
to smile, something I was able to catch on video.

Pau

financially helping us out. Not to mention the hoardes of texts

strengthen us with cheerful greetings of encouragement and support.

We've
fought the fight, but the battle is not over yet. It is actually
